Academic librarians have responded to the misinformation crisis by addressing it through information literacy instruction and tool development. However, little research has been done on how extensively they teach news literacy skills in the classroom. This study explores librarians’ perspectives on misinformation and their efforts to address it in their teaching. Comparisons with a previous study on faculty perspectives reveal both similarities and differences, which may present challenges to further implementation.
