And, and so while I was working on groups and group psychology as a subject for art, I became interested in the point at which a group becomes a crowd, and how the social, social psychology of crowds is distinct,

So I started by, by studying the proliferation

They were kind of hiding in plain sight, but it felt like a discovery because they had received so little, attention. they're not just all over the art in late 19th century France.
