By considering ‘public spirit’ (a positive attitude adopted by citizens for the benefit of the community) and associational activity (individuals’ engagement in voluntary activities) two major expressions of prosocial behaviour and estimate their impact on Palestinians’ ‘tax morale’ (intrinsic motivation to pay taxes).
