Penny Jane Burke discusses key dimensions of PPOEMs and an emphasis on time and temporality inrelation to equity. This interview draws from my body of work including The Right to Higher Educationbeyond widening participation (Burke, 2012) and Equity in Higher Education: Time for SocialJustice Praxis (forthcoming, Burke and Lumb, 2023). This work has formed the development of the Centre of Excellence for Equity in HigherEducation, which is shaped by a pioneering social justice praxis framework throughPedagogical Methodologies (Burke, Crozier and Misiaszek, 2017; Burke and Lumb, 2018) orPPOEMs (Praxis-based, Pedagogical, Ethically-oriented, Methodologies, Burke, 2020).
