Tackling housing affordability

Housing affordability is a continuing problem for state and federal governments across the world.

Professor Richard Peiser, an international housing affordability expert at Harvard University, has been surprised to find housing is more affordable in some of the “most expensive markets” of America compared to Australia.

Richard Peiser is the first Michael D. Spear Professor of Real Estate Development in the Department of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard GSD.
