Which Factors Are Associated with Monitoring Goal Progress?

People often want to know how they are progressing on their personal goals. For example, an employee with the goal to succeed at work might ask her boss for feedback, reflect on whether she is performing better than before, and keep track of whether her deadlines are being met. Thomas Webb is a social psychologist, interested in self-regulation and behaviour change. Specifically, he is interested in how people achieve their goals and make changes to their behaviour.
