James Murphy discusses the ‘big DI’ techniques, the research base for DI and examples of teacher-designed
instructional presentations and practice activities. The video will also identify some published DI
programmes which teachers may find useful in the classroom. James Murphy has worked as HOD English in three
schools, as AP and DP. He has a research-oriented M Ed
and post-graduate SEN diploma.
