How to meet the challenge of leading and teaching the new English curriculum

Jude Hunton, deputy head teacher and Chris Peirce, Head of English, both from Ashlawn
School explain their approach to the new linear curriculum and terminal assessment in English. They
will explain their underpinning ideas for learning and which educational researchers have guided their
developments. They will explain their approach from different perspectives so you can use this session
for how to implement practice as a teacher or for how to lead learning and how to communicate the
approach with students and families.
