Investigating the language needs of international nurses

International nurses are required to provide evidence of English language competence on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test. EEA-qualified nurses are not required to provide this evidence. Mark Garner discusses language competence as a cause for concern in complaints about international and EEA-qualified nurses.
