External perceptions of the European Union in Israel—the role of norms and culture

Based on research, the role of norms and culture in shaping perceptions of the European Union.
It examines the distinction between the EU’s image as a normative actor and attitudes towards the EU in relation to one’s own country.
The study investigates the potential relationship between the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), which symbolizes European culture, and Europeans’ perceptions of the EU.
