Public libraries faced new challenges due to COVID-19 and had to adapt their services. This study analyzed Twitter messages from 12 large public libraries to identify innovative services during the pandemic. A revised typology was developed, categorizing nine major types of innovative services provided by public libraries. The findings revealed significant differences within social innovation categories and newly emerged themes. This revised typology offers updated insights into how public libraries continue to serve as important community resources during the pandemic.
