A recent study examines the return on investment (ROI) from the academic libraries of India’s top ten universities in terms of research publication. Factors such as library budget, staff, collection, services, and facilities are investigated to understand their impact on institutional ROI and research output. The findings reveal that the Indian Institute of Science has the highest research output, while Jamia Millia Islamia has the lowest among the ten university libraries. This research highlights the significance of libraries in research publication, supporting decision-making and institutional library system analysis.
