The performance of five different choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) was investigated for liquid-liquid extraction.
The DESs showed high distribution coefficients and selectivities, indicating their potential industrial applications.
The experimental data was compared to the performance of ionic liquids and thermodynamic models to validate the results.
