Influencing Factors on American Views of Children’s Tackle Football

A survey of 4,053 U.S. adults found that the majority believe middle or high school is the best time to start playing tackle football. However, some think it should never be played. Certain groups, such as those with higher education or without young children, support age restrictions on youth football tackling. Respondents expressed safety concerns about tackle football in youth programs, despite recognizing its benefits.
