Patient Outcomes After Hip Surgery for Borderline Dysplasia

A study on 40 patients with borderline hip dysplasia revealed significant improvement in patient-reported outcomes. Periacetabular osteotomy was found to be a reliable treatment option, showing favorable mid-term outcomes. Preoperative labral or ligamentum teres lesions did not affect the observed outcomes. However, technical accuracy during the procedure is crucial to avoid surgical overcorrection.
